What Is Mesobotox or Baby Botox?

Botulinum toxin, the primary ingredient in Botox is widely known for anti-ageing abilities. Instead of just using botulinum toxin, mesotherapy or mesobotox uses diluted botox in small doses onto specific areas of your face.

It is mainly being used to treat mid-face, for example. It is also used for facial glow, reducing sebum production and reducing pore size. Research studies have also reported an improvement in skin texture.

How Is It Different From Botox?

Unlike a proper Botox session, baby botox uses botulinum toxin in small concentration in a higher volume. Instead of injecting it in the deeper layers of your skin, Meso Botox is injected into the intra -dermal layer of the skin.

What happens during the procedure?

After local anaesthesia, the doctor applies a proper amount of botulinum toxin. The preparation is injected very evenly over the whole treatment area.

What are the indications for the procedure?

How many treatments are required to achieve the desired effect?

One treatment per half a year is sufficient; after the treatment the skin may be red with visible injection spots, and after a few days the effect of mild relaxation of muscles appears; the full effect is noticeable after 2 weeks; the effect lasts 5-6 months.

What aftercare is needed?

The treatment requires no downtime. After the treatment, you may return to your day-to-day activities. For 3-4 days, you should follow hygiene regime of the treatment area.
